Rayvanny has confirmed that he parted with a whopping Tsh1.3 billion/Ksh68.9 million to terminate his contract with Wasafi in 2022.

The Bongo singer opened up about his Wasafi contract termination while quarreling with former colleague Harmonize.

Vanny Boy revealed that he paid Wasafi a whopping Ksh68.9 million to prematurely terminate his contract with Wasafi as he mocked Harmonize for paying ‘only’ Tsh600 million/Ksh31.8 million to end his contract with WCB

“You paid Wasafi 600M umelia kwenye media zote mzee… In case you don’t know I paid Wasafi 1.3 BILLION,” Rayvanny wrote in part.

Rayvanny on July 12, 2022, officially announced that he had parted ways with Diamond Platinumz’s record label Wasafi after six years.

The Bongo singer expressed his gratitude to his former boss and recounted some of his highlights in Wasafi in an emotional tribute video uploaded on his social media.

Diamond Platnumz has on multiple occasions proved that he harbors no ill feelings toward Rayvanny who quit his record label WCB Wasafi.

The Wasafi boss still has a soft spot for Rayvanny, unlike Harmonize whom he completely cut off after he quit Wasafi in 2019.
