In case you didn’t know, Racha Sayantist (formerly Rapcha The Sayantist) made history for being the first ever comedian in Kenyan history to hold a successful one-man stand up comedy show 10 years ago and he intends to do just that.

The hot 96 radio host presenter who is also a former host of the hit comedy series ‘Raiyaa’ together with Mwafreeka performed his first ever public performance as a stand up comedian at Alliance Francaise and nailed it.

Taking to social media, the comedian who isn’t afraid to say that he is from the ghetto opened up to let the whole know how he has been battling with alcohol addiction for the past seven years which saw him getting drunk almost daily in those years and he intends to stop his alcohol addiction and change for the better and make something useful of his life before he dies and people start trending him on Twitter saying how good a stand up comedian he was.

the very last time Rapcha Sayantist had a stand up comedy show was 10 years ago and he had dreadlocks back then which he has since sheved down but they "you don't haffi dread to be rasta". photo credit: Instagram/rapcha.sayantist

Rapcha Sayantist wants to repeat history once again and do another stand up comedy show that he successfully did 10 years ago, he has never been this ready for the show.

“I just don’t wanna be dead and people start saying I was a good stand up comedian and making the sh*t trend on twitter saying he was good but he got lost, I need your support and help today while am still breathing and kicking, am down but not out, am reaching out.” his long social media post read in part.

Rapcha is so serious so much so that he just needs 100 serious fans to commit on his idea of performing as a stand up comedian once again so that he can give us a stand up comedy like no other we have seen and that’s why he reached out.

Rapcha Sayantist wrote this on his social media accounts:

For the past 10yrs I wasn’t living right, I have practically been drunk for over 7yrs of the last ten, everyday, everyday f**kin day, I ain’t doing that sh*t no more, not because am a good person not because am saved, nah am a ghetto boy with an attitude of a ghetto boy, 10yrs ago I made history by making the first ever stand up comedy special on Kenyan soil with the help of my good friend @mwafreeka …
