Lupita Nyong’o surprised an audience at NBC Studios in New York City with her impressive rap skills. The Hollywood actress was challenged to spit a freestyle by host Jimmy Fallon and she totally impressed.
Comedian Jimmy Fallon hosted Lupita on his show The Tonight Show on Monday night as the actress was promoting her zombie movie ‘Little Monsters’.
Jimmy asked Lupita to spit a freestyle and she gladly took the mic and rapped like Kanye. The Kenyan actress spit a few bars over a live beat from The Roots house band sending the studio audience into a frenzy.
Lupita showed some love to Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z for including her name in “Brown Skin Girl” from The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack while she was rapping.
The celebrated Hollywood actress also gave a nod to her 2014 Oscar win while also mentioning her self-love children’s book ‘Sulwe’.
