Nasa leader Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta have been embroiled in a tweef which started when the president took a swipe at his rival on twitter.
Uhuru Kenyatta through his official twitter handle @UKenyatta claimed Raila was destroying Kenya’s economy for his own selfish gain.
“Stop destroying Kenya’s economy for your selfish gain, President Kenyatta tells Raila” Uhuru Kenyatta tweeted.
Uhuru spoke in Meru in reaction to the demonstrations in Kisumu on Friday in which Nasa protestors broke in a supermarket and also cut water supply.
In response to Uhuru’s tweet, Raila told off the president saying that the only thing he had grown during his five year tenure was corruption and looting.
“Banks are at their worst. Interest rates remain at choking levels, the only industries you’ve grown are corruption and looting,” Raila tweeted.
