The Cord leader left Kenya for Israel a day before the Malindi and Kericho by-elections to attend the Africa and Israel: Policy and Leadership Conference that opened yesterday March 7th.
The conference was held at Truman Institute for Peace, The Hebrew University’s Mt. Scopus campus in Jerusalem.
Raila was flanked by Senators Amos Wako (Busia), Agnes Zani (Nominated) and Janet Ongera (Nominated).
The conference will bring together statesmen and academics from Africa and Israel to discuss issues regarding governance, education, democratization, sustainability and Israel’s position in the world.
