Kennedy Ombina, popularly known as King Kaka, has unleashed his fury at the country’s Members of County Assemblies (MCA) for unanimously passing BBI bill.

On Tuesday February 23rd, dubbed Super Tuesday, several counties across the country passed BBI bill to cross the 24 counties threshold needed to warrant a referendum.

Some 39 counties adopted the Constitutional (Amendment) Bill 2020, only Baringo county shot down the bill while a few other counties are yet to vote.

Following the green light from county assemblies, BBI bill now heads to both houses of parliament where lawmakers will deliberate and vote on if before the president signs the bill to law and the country heads to a referendum.

King Kaka now claims the MCAs only passed the BBI bill because president Uhuru Kenyatta promised each of them Ksh 2 million car grant.

Taking to social media, the rapper called MCAs ‘Judas’ claiming that they betrayed the country for Ksh 2 million each.

“And just like that The modern day Judas’ wamepigwa 2Million wauze Kenyans,” King Kaka tweeted.

In another tweet, the rapper wrote;

“Judas and the 2M pieces Of Silver.”
