At 43, some Kenyans are convinced Prezzo is just too old for the game and that he should retire from music instead of pushing on.

Prezzo was born on January 9, 1980, and has been in the Kenyan music scene since the early 2000s when he debuted his music career.

The veteran musician was at one time the most sought-after rapper in Kenya at the height of his music success when he dominated the airwaves with hits like ‘Let’s Get Down’, ‘Nataka Tupendane’, ‘My City My Town’ among others.

However, time and seasons swept Prezzo off the spotlight as other rappers came and conquered the Kenyan music scene.

Even though he has not been very active musically speaking, Prezzo tried a music comeback as King Kaka featured him in his new song ‘Leo’ which premiered on YouTube on October 26, 2023.

However, some netizens urged Prezzo to just retire from music when King Kaka was recently promoting their new collabo.

“Should Prezzo not just retire man dem is old!!” Kevotio commented on King Kaka’s post.

In a quick rejoinder, King Kaka dismissed calls for Prezzo to retire from music saying the veteran rapper should be allowed to do what he loves.

“Le him do what he loves, don’t force people to do what you want,” King Kaka replied.
