The entertainment industry is currently in mourning after the sudden death of one of the most popular and sought-after actor, Pretty Mutave passed away.
Citizen TV anchors, Lulu Hassan and his wife, Rashid Abdalla who are the owner of Jiffy Pictures, a production company that usually promotes local movies and series confirmed this news to be true.
“Japo kazi ya Mungu haina makosa lakini msiba hauna mazoea. Pretty Mutave kipaji chako kikawe nuru kwa malaika.
Mola ailaze roho yako pema peponi Inshallah. Heshima na kipaji chako vitadumu milele.” Rashid Abdalla shared on social media.
The cause of the sudden death is not currently known or at least it hasn’t been shared yet.
“We had plans but God had better plans. Rest well, rest with the Angels pretty…Inallilahi wa ina illayhi Rajiun.” Lulu Hassan added sharing her condolences.
The beautiful and talented Pretty Mutave who was the number one fan of Teresa Mendoza, a fictional character portrayed by Alice Braga on the hit series, ‘Queen of the South’ had starred in Udhalimu, Maza, Aziza, Kijakazi, Arosto among other films prior to her demise.
On July 18, 2020, Pretty Mutave mourned one of the respected actors in the country, Papa Shirandula who she looked up to and respected as one of the pioneers in her field of work on social media.
It’s sad the country has lost yet another respected, talented, and sought-after actor in the industry.
