President Magufuli Publicly Mocks Kenyans As He Opens East Africa’s Longest Bridge In Tanzania

Tanzanian president John Pombe Magufuli has fired salvos at Kenyans for claiming everything good in the region was found in the 254.

Speaking during the opening of East Africa’s longest bridge, the Tanzanian head of state said his country was catching up with Kenya in development.

Magufuli taunted Kenya for ‘grabbing’ Mt. Kilimanjara and Olduvai Gorge from Tanzania. Magufuri indirectly referred to the incident where Raila’s daughter Rosemary Odinga said Olduvai Gorge was in Kenya during an address in UN headquarters in New York.

The Kigamboni Bridge that Magufuli opened is East and Central Africa’s first cable-stayed bridge which stretches 680 meters across.
