Pizza and Wine Festival, a regional leader in concerts and live events, is set to kick off a vaccination drive for all event attendees and event staff.

The campaign, limited only as required by law, will be in full effect no later than Tuesday 5th Oct 2021.

This is to allow all the ticket holders and event staff for our upcoming event on the 30th and 31st October are vaccinated.

“We have come to the conclusion that, as a market leader in the events industry, it is up to us to take a stand on bringing back the industry to its former glory and pick up from where we left before Covid-19 struck,” Jesse, Co-founder, Pizza & Wine Festival opened up speaking about the vaccination drive.

Just a few weeks ago, we were optimistic about where our business, and country is headed, it might look dramatic but it’s a step in the right direction and we are confident and hopeful that things will soon normalize and therefore call upon all those who are coming to the event to get vaccinated.

We know that using our platform to take a strong position on vaccinations can make an impact. The message we want to send is simple and clear: the only way to be as safe as possible is to require everyone to be vaccinated. And we’re confident that others who haven’t been ready to make this full commitment yet will follow our lead. ” he added.

The vaccination exercise is free and no one will be required to pay. All the attendees have to register for vaccination via the MoH website portal.health.go.ke/register and show up at the vaccination centre on the selected dates.
