Donkey owners are now learning how to dress their beasts with either Napkins or diapers.
This comes after the government issued new regulations to cart operators who use donkeys ,saying that they should ensure that the town is clean off donkeys poop.
“[The county government of Wajir] appreciates the contribution of the donkey-cart operators to the economy of Wajir… However the town must be kept clean at all times,” it says.
“In view of the above you are directed to manage your donkey poop (faeces)…. No donkey will be allowed in town without this poop-collecting bag.”
The rule is already in application.Donkey owners must dress them with nappies or diapers to avoid soiling the only tarmac road in Wajir town and to maintain cleanliness.
