Maluda broke all odds last year to become the winner of the hip hop song of the year at the Groove Awards and with that increased his fan base and people took notice of his work.
So, it’s safe to say that last year was Maluda’s year because the same year he released did a collaboration with one of the most sought after rap act in the country right now, Kayvo Kforce on his single ‘Glory To The King’.
The only person I put above you is Jesus. Would trade my life for you without thinking twice… Love you momma
Yesterday though was his mother’s birthday (who happens to share a birthday with Mombasa based singer, Nyota Ndoo) and he took to social media to say how lucky and appreciative he is to his mother.
His mother has always been there for him and recalled how she used to sell groundnuts and sweets on the street to running an internationally acclaimed company, DHL.
This is the personal, heartfelt letter the ‘Easy’ hitmaker wrote to his mother
“Yesterday was my mom’s birthday bought her a cake and a gift…” Maluda said in part on his lengthy social media post.
“She means so much to me luv her with all my heart definition of a strong woman from selling groundnuts and sweets on the street to running DHL.
The only person I put above you is Jesus. Would trade my life for you without thinking twice… Love you momma. AIN’T NO WOMAN ALIVE THAT WOULD TAKE MY MOMMAS PLACE #2pacvoice”
