Pastor Daniel Wabala Wesonga of Faith Chapel has spilled the beans on Andrew Kibe’s life when he was a born again Christian.
Wesongo revealed that Kibe and him used to worship together at a church based in Lang’ata but the controversial content creator told him he was not comfortable at the church and they left and opened a new church together.
“We opened a church and I made him a chairman, Robert Burale was a pastor while Rozina Mwakideu was a praise and worship team member,” Wesongo said during an interview with Nairobi News.
The preacher added that he even baptized Kibe after they opened a new church.
Wesonga further alleges that Kibe wanted to be a pastor, but he stopped him.
“I told him his time was not yet. He was the one responsible in making the church announcements.”
The two would later relocate to India only to return to Kenya when they were bankrupt.
“Kibe then wanted us to relocate in Rwanda since we had so many debts after coming to Kenya,” he said.
In the midst of their struggles, they started producing content, and Kibe was eventually hired by NRG radio, where Wesonga worked as a producer.
Wesonga revealed that Kibe’s life took a turn for the worst after going through divorce. He noted that the controversial content creator’s life was in shambles after the divorce and that his first wife died of depression.
Kibe became the biggest critic of marriages and expressed outright hatred towards women after going through the divorce.
Wesongo noted that Kibe relocated to the US after hurting all brands they were working with.
“Kibe relocated [to the US] since he hurt most of the brands he was working with and had to look for an alternative and that is why he relocated,” he said.
