Rapper Francis Amisi popularly known as Frasha used to be a heavy drinker, but not anymore. He has decided to steer clear of alcohol for good.
Frasha has been taking alcohol for 15 years, he decided to participate in sobriety challenges after looking back at how much he spent on liquor.
His journey to sobriety started three years ago when he first took part in #40daysfreeofalcoholchallenge. He undertook the challenge to stay sober for 40 days every year.
“After doing the 40 days sobriety challenge for several years, I have realised the importance of quitting alcohol completely. As you mature up, you start realising that there are things you are doing that are no longer important, which are wasting your time, money and even they make you lose focus,” said Frasha during an interview with Word Is.
The father of two says that most people, including his own wife, still don’t believe that he has actually quit the bottle completely.
“My wife still thinks I am joking, and she has given me time. I have realised alcohol will always be there, so every individual should evaluate themselves and the choices you want in life,” said Frasha.
