The sensational East African singer hailing from Kenya, Otile Brown wants every other person, especially the youth to vote wisely in the upcoming general elections in 2022.

Otile Brown stresses the importance of always electing the right candidate who will have the best intentions of the people at heart as opposed to the leaders who are only focused on perpetuating their own interests and lying to the people by bribes while campaigning.

Speaking in general terms about what usually happens in Africa and African leaderships, Otile Brown blames Africans entirely for whatever backlash that usually happens when we elect our leaders.

The singer says that Africans have a history of suffering because of selfish decisions of electing leaders out of fanaticism as opposed to their values and what they bring to the table.

He strongly believes that those selfish, biased reasons are how we punish our children unknowingly adding that there’s no leader who will knock on your door to ask whether you’ve eaten or not.

The ‘Dusuma’ hitmaker is convinced that people can live the life that is experienced abroad and we know that to be true without the need of proving that as a fact.

Otile Brown urged his fans to elect a true leader as opposed to electing a businessman who has nothing but bad intentions for his people once he gets elected.

“Wakati mwengine sisi wa Africa ndio chanzo cha matatizo yetu, we’ve suffered for long because of our own selfish decisions. Kuchagua viongozi kisa “ufanatic”, “mtu wetu”, na “kuhongwa” ni ushamba.

Unatesa familia na marafiki zako bila kujua, hakuna kiongozi atakaye kuja kwako akuulize kama umekula.

Kenya tunaweza ishi kama ulaya na sote tunajua hilo, uwezekano up, weka hisia zako, mapenzi ya jamii yako na kiburi kando natufanye waamuzi wa akili.

Mabadiliko yanaanzia kwako wewe mpiga kura, chagua kiongozi wa kweli, sio wanabiashara,” Otile Brown urged his fans.

Otile Brown added that a lot of trials and tribulations that most citizens go through today could have easily been avoided if they would’ve voted wisely, “It’s like we don’t want what’s good for us,” he wrote in part.

“Nina imani wengine tumejanjaruka, tumekomaa, tumejifunza, tumekua ila wakati mwengine na waangalia vijana wenzangu wanayofikiria na wanavyoendeshwa na vitu visivyokua na msingi kisha nasikitika… It’s like we don’t want what’s good for us.

Life is about choices… Hayo matatizo huenda unapitia sahii pengine hayangekuepo tusingeendeshwa na tamaa, ubinafsi, ukabila na ujamaa,” Otile Brown captioned his screengrabbed message.
