Otile Brown speaks on Papa Dennis’ sudden death

The country was rather shocked when they learned about the sudden death of the gospel maestro, Papa Dennis real name Dennis Mwangi who has since been buried.

Otile Brown who recently went on a radio interview at Radio Maisha opened up about what might have caused the death of the gospel singer, Papa Dennis.

Otile Brown commented on the sudden death of the gospel singer who had worked with established African artistes before his sudden passing, Papa Dennis.

The singer said that if the gospel musician would have opened up about what he was going through in his head to anybody close to him, there’s a high chance that he would have been alive today because talking your troubles away usually help sometimes.

“so kwa muda mrefu mwenzenu nimegundua kwamba niko depressed for instance, like Papa Dennis’ case, when you talk, one finds peace but as an artiste, you don’t know who to trust because you are not sure who is your friend.”

Otile Brown said in part speaking on live radio.

“unaona kama issue iliyotokea juzi na rest in peace papa dennis unakuta kwamba unaweza kuwa wewe ni msanii lakini kuna vitu ambavyo vinaendelea katika maisha yako, si kifedha ama vitu kama hivyo, ila huwezi ongea maana wewe ni msanii alafu kuna vile watu huwa wameshakuchukulia na shemu ambayo watu wamekuweka tayari na unahisi kwamba huwezi ukamfuata mtu ukamuelezea shida zako na saa zingine unataka tu mtu akushauri maana kule kuongea kunatuliza roho coz the moment unazitoa moyoni unabaki na amani.

Lakini unashindwa mtu ambaye unaeza share naye hivyo vitu maana hujui umuamini nani. So kwa muda mrefu mwenzenu nimegundua kwamba niko depressed for instance, like Papa Dennis’ case, when you talk, one finds peace but as an artiste, you don’t know who to trust because you are not sure who is your friend. some people may come and listen to you but all they want is to spread information about you.” Otile Brown said speaking about the sudden death of the late Papa Dennis.
