Bongo singer Ommy Dimpoz has not gotten over the loss of his girlfriend Maya Mia whose death is currently being treated as suicide as no one has been charged yet.
Maya Mia’s lifeless body was found in the bathroom with a bullet hole in her head in what police are currently treating as suicide.
The 39-year-old died on December 2, 2022, at her South African home which she shared with her boyfriend Kyle Phillips.
“Upon arrival at the address given, police found a woman in the bedroom with a gunshot wound on the head. There was a firearm next to her. The woman was certified dead by the paramedics,” South African police spokesperson Mavela Masondo said.
Masondo would not comment on who owned the firearm, adding: “The police cannot comment on it now as that might jeopardize the investigation.”
Police opened an inquest into the influencer’s death, meaning it is not being treated as suspicious at the present time.
Maya Mia’s boyfriend Phillips said he was brushing his teeth in the bathroom when he heard a gunshot coming from their bedroom, according to reports.
