Oga Obinna was rudely reminded that he is still renting in Nairobi despite being one of the most famous people in the country.
A daring netizen by the name Kenzy Kenzia Abba slid into Obinna’s DMs on Instagram to tell him that he was wasting money by continuing to live in rented apartments.
Abba lauded Obinna for being a responsible single father to his children while at the same time criticized him about renting in Nairobi.
“A good father… who wastes money on rented apartments,” the fan wrote to him.
Obinna posted the message from the fan and said that he did not know that living his life in rented apartment would offend some people.
Jokingly, he said that he was now considering moving out of rented apartment to live in his own house that he is building, even though it is in his village.
“Wueh!! Wacha nitoke rentals niishi kwangu penye nimejenga ushago since kuna wale nawakosea sanaaaa🤣🤣🤣🙆🏿🙆🏿🙆🏿🙆🏿 Poleni Jamani sio kupenda kwangu.”
While many of his fans supported him by lashing out at the critic, others supported his argument maintaining that Obinna is rich enough to own a house and not live on rent.
