Nasty C -who recently dropped his sophomore album dubbed ‘Strings and Bling’ which features international artiste A$ap Ferg and Rowlene on it just to mention a few collaborations on it- went to Sway Calloway’s show ‘Sway in the Morning’ show in New York to talk about the new album.

Nasty C also sat down with Sway Calloway on MTV’s show TRL which usually airs on Monday.

Nasty C acknowledged Dj Bongz’s Gwara Gwara dance, paid homage to the late ProKid for opening the doors for hip hop back then and also talked about why he chooses to rap in English rather than in Zulu which is his native tongue saying that he has already found a fanbase who understands him through his rapping in English than in Zulu and he is afraid to switch it up to Zulu because when he do, people would be concerned about him rapping in Zulu rather than hear what he actually has to say on the record, plus he can flow better, wordplay easily in English.

“Rowlene is my artiste, she’s my friend from Cape Town, she’s mad talented, she’s super super dope …” Nasty C answered Sway when he inquired to know about the super talented Rowlene,

Nasty C also perfomed a record off his sophomore album ‘Strings And Bling’ dubbed ‘SME’ on Sway in the Morning.
