Comedienne Nasra Yusuf raised eyebrows when she took to social media to flaunt a receipt showing that she had spent a whopping Ksh59,200 on breakfast alone.
“My breakfast today…59200…and still counting,” she captioned the receipt.
Hawk-eyed netizens however noticed the receipt was dated June 24, 2021 and not October 3, 2022 which was on the day Nasra had claimed to have spent the money on breakfast.
The receipt was shared by Vera Sidika in June when she took some friends out for dinner at Sankara Hotel.
Responding to those who accused her of lying, Nasra wrote; “Sasa 59,200 ni kitu ya kuniambia nadaganya surely?”
“I have to sue the hotel, why are they giving me a receipt from last year? Why can’t they respect their clients… Wakenya hutake vitu very personal… Which lie? Hii ni wivu tu, too bad I didn’t record the food,” she added.
