Nandy opened up about the millions of Tanzanian Shillings she had to part with just to secure a collaboration with the ‘WAAH’ hitmaker and Congolese legendary musician, Koffi Olomide.

The Tanzanian beauty disclosed that she had to take care of every other cost that Koffi Olomide might incur when he came to Tanzania to work with her on a project.

Nandy catered for absolutely everything.

Speaking at a radio interview with Clouds FM, the ‘Hallelujah’ hitmaker and the self-proclaimed African Princess confessed that she instantly wanted to work with Koffi Olomide once she saw a video of the Congolese musician loving her song ‘Kivuruge’.

“When Koffi came for an interview with Clouds, he was played my song ‘Kivuruge’ and he said he likes my work.

When I saw the video clip, I wanted to meet him and maybe create a relationship so that we can do a collabo later.” she said.

She, later on, instructed her management to reach out to Koffi Olomide to ask if he would want to work with her on a project.

“I told my management to get his contacts and he agreed for a meeting. I met him and he told me he likes my song ‘Kivuruge’ and suggested we do a remix but I told him we should do a collabo. He said, “we can even do it tomorrow”.

I prepared myself to record but he got busy and the next day I was traveling to Kenya. He recorded his part and sent me the clips and when I came back to Tanzania, I added my part.” she added.

Nandy explained how humble the Congolese singer really is that he even accepted her invitation of visiting her in her house and even spending time with her family and share a meal together.

“There is nothing for free, I have spent money to bring him here with his management, I have catered for his accommodation, food, costume, and the video shoot.” she said, “To do all that I have used over $30,000. He is a very humble person, I invited him to my house and he agreed and came.”

Nandy together with Koffi Olomide has a song together dubbed ‘Leo Leo’ that they already released. You can stream the audio version of the same below, the video is yet to come out.
