Naiboi finally got to release his first body of work of 2021, an EP dubbed ‘Otero’ which is something that he’s been looking forward to over the years that he hasn’t been putting out new music.
The ‘2 in 1’ hitmaker opened up about why he decided to name his latest studio project ‘Otero’ saying that he did so because it reminds people not to give up on their dream/s.
“Otero is a motivational song and the title of the album. a song for the dreamer, the believer and a reminder that through each hurdle the goal is what’s important,” Naiboi opened up.
About his record dubbed ‘Ntilie’ that features Nyashinski, he opened up about how people in love express love to one another.
“This song[‘Ntilie’] confesses the love and adoration towards that special person in one’s life and the willingness to spend forever with them,” he said about the record.
Naiboi whose real name is Michael Kennedy Claver thought it wise to release his studio EP after releasing his first single of the year dubbed ‘Pesa’ that features comedian DJ Shiti.
The 10-track EP has been produced by Naiboi himself, Bass Man, Jazzybass Beats, Hamado which features coming from Nyashinski, Femi One, AY, DJ Kalonje, Arrow Bwoy, Darrio, DJ Stevie M, TRUTH254.
He features Jamaican Darrio in one of the tracks on the EP.
