A man has averred before a Nairobi court that his penis was used as a teaching specimen without his consent.

The man whose name has been withheld told the judge that the doctor who was attending to him at the Agha Khan Hospital Nairobi ‘used’ his private parts to teach female students.

“When I went for the medical examination the doctor told me to go to the examination bed, undress and wait, while I was waiting on the examination bed, a female walked into the room and a few minutes later another female was let into the examination room.”

He claimed that the doctor allowed his students to touch his organs. He further narrated to the court that the doctor would pose in between his examination to ask students questions.

“It mentally distressed me; I was turned into a specimen and a sort of an object. I was subjected to unrestricted and prolonged touching of my penis” the complainant through his lawyer.

He further narrated that the doctor recommended that he returns for checkup which he never honored over fears of the horrific experience.

He then reported to Parklands police station, the hospitals human resource office then forwarded it to the Kenya medical practitioners and dentists board.

It was made apparent before the court that the doctor had apologized for his conduct through the hospital.

“That the first respondent allowed two females to enter the room while examining the petitioners private reproductive organs without informing him and asking prior consent his constitutional rights were  violated’ Justice Wilfida Okwany noted.

The case continues on July 18 2018 where the hospital has been ordered to appear in court.
