Musalia Mudavadi has disclosed what President Uhuru Kenyatta told him about the Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga, and his presidential bid in 2022.
The Amani National Congress(ANC) Party leader revealed a whole lot about his private conversation with President Uhuru Kenyatta in an interview with Citizen TV on Monday, 6th, September 2021.
Mudavadi disclosed that the President doesn’t have any intentions of making Raila Odinga his successor in 2022 as a lot of political pundits have purpoted.
He went further to say that President Uhuru doesn’t intend to force him, Wiper Democratic Movement Party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetang’ula to join forces with Raila Odinga in supporting and/or endorsing him for the presidency, he stressed on the fact that all the President wants is to finish his tenure as the President in peace, leave his office and let every presidential candidate to convince Kenyans in voting for them as he won’t endorse anyone whatsoever.
“Lakini jukumu lake ni kutekeleza yale yaliyosalia kisha ang’atuke mamlakani kwa uzuri.
Alinisisitizia kuwa yeye hatanilazimisha mimi, Kalonzo Musyoka au Moses Wetangula kumuunga mkono Raila. Lakini kila mmoja atajiuza mwenyewe kwa wananchi,” Mudavadi said in his interview with Citizen TV.
