Carol Sonnie stripped her daughter of Mulamwah’s Luhya surname and replaced it with Kikuyu names following their breakup.
The mother of one changed her daughter’s name from Keilah Oyando to Keilah Khloe Wangoi Muthoni after dropping Mulamwah’s surname name.
Sonnie revealed her daughter’s name change while replying to questions from her fans in a video she posted online in November 2023.
Fast forward to January 2024, Mulamwah reacted to his daughter’s name change in a YouTube video posted on Ruth K’s channel.
While Mulamwah was engaging his fans in a question and answer session on Instagram on Thursday morning, a fan teased the comedian informing him that his daughter now has a different name.
“Kyla Oyando is now muthoni waithera,” the fan wrote.
The father of one responded to a fan’s comment with a laughing emoji, expressing his feelings about the situation.
He attached the emoji to a YouTube video of him and Ruth K sharing a discussion about their baby’s name, in which the comedian first mocked Carol Sonnie’s name change.
In the video, the comedian was heard warning his current girlfriend about changing the child’s name even if their relationship hit rock bottom in the future.
“And this is your game, someone gives a name to the child, later you come to change it, I stack that game,” said Mulamwah.
