Singer Muigai Junior speaks after undergoing 7-hour nephroureterectomy surgery

Kikuyu gospel musician Muigai Junior has taken to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude following a successful seven-hour kidney surgery.

In a post on Facebook on Saturday, March 2, 2024, Muigai revealed that he underwent surgery the surgery on Friday.

He further expressed his gratitude to God for making the surgery successful.

“Special thanks to Everyone It was not easy and i underwent a Nephroureterectomy yesterday more than 7hors in theatre was not a joke but i would wish to thank my God for making it possible,to everyone who took part in this God bless you,” he wrote.

The gospel singer additionally thanked his fans for the financial support that enabled him to undergo.

“To all those who have been praying for me,financial supports and encouragement God always bless you ..am in pain but i know this one is just a nomal thing and i will get off from it ….now back to the hospital bed at keruguya medical center (kwa wahome ) quick recovery to me….#amaworrior,” he wrote.

 

Nephroureterectomy is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of a kidney and its attached ureter, which is the tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder.

Muigai’s surgery was likely performed to address a medical condition affecting his kidney. While the details of his specific condition have not been disclosed he has previously undergone surgery for kidney stones.
