Gospel singer Mr Seed has revealed that he is no longer embroiled in a beef with Bahati.
The singer disclosed that children were the reason they made peace with each other.
Mr Seed explained that they decided to reconcile after fans took advantage of the feud between them to troll their children.
“I used to post my son Gold and some toxic fans would come and compare him with Bahati’s son Majesty. The same would happen on his side and our children would end up being trolled,” Mr Seed said during an interview with Word Is.
“There were some comments I read and they hurt me so much. I decided to call Bahati to request for a meeting,” he added.
The two former friends met at a private place, where they forgave each other at the end of the meeting.
Mr Seed and Bahati used to be best friends until the events of December 31st, 2018 which turned their friendship into animosity. However, the two seem to have let go of their hostilities.
Bahati had signed Mr Seed to his record label EMB but he quit after they clashed in a beef that was started by their wives Diana Marua and Wairimu Gachuiri alias Nimo.
On December 31st, 2018, Bahati and his EMB entourage held a New Year’s eve party at Thika Stadium dubbed ‘EMB Jesus Party’.
At the end year party in Thika, Mr. Seed’s wife Nimo wanted to make an extra shilling by selling coffee and tea to revelers.
However, Bahati’s wife Diana Marua wasn’t for the idea and when Nimo defied her she called the police on Mr Seed’s wife who was very pregnant at the time.
Gospel singer Ringtone claimed that the disagreement started after Diana learned of Nimo’s idea and became jealous of it and wanted to do the business herself.
According to this narrative, Nimo refused to back off, insisting she is the one who conceived the idea. It’s at this point that the police were called to stop her and possibly kick her out.
Mr Seed and Bahati first appeared to have ceased all hostilities in March 2022 as the former came out to publicly declare his support for the former’s political quest.
