Wasafi’s top boss and one of Diamond Platnumz’s managers Said Hassan Fella aka Mkubwa Fella has claimed that it will take many years to find another artiste like Diamond Platnumz or one who will fill his position in the Bongo Music Industry.
In an interview with Bongo 5, Fella noted that Diamond has set a very high standard for other artistes.
He pointed out that as long as he is alive together with fellow managers Babu Tale and Salaam SK then no other Tanzanian musician would surpass or even match Diamond’s success.
“Kama bado niko mimi, Tale na Salaam hawezi kutokea msanii mwingine kumpita Naseeb. Sisi Mungu atuchukue ama mimi niamue kupumzika, Tale aje kupumzika ndio wataanza kucharuka wengine,” he said.
Fella revealed that their confidence in investing has contributed to the great success of Diamond and WCB music label in general.
He congratulated Diamond for his honesty and great respect.
He noted that despite the Bongo star being a billionaire, he still respects those who helped him while he was climbing the ladder.
“Hajawahi kutudharau hadi siku moja. Anajua sisi ni watu ambao tulimtoa pale chini mpaka leo yuko pale juu,” Mkubwa Fella said.
Fella said that Diamond’s level of stardom has not made him violent or made him despise those who raised him.
He also criticized the artists who separated from their guardians along the way and said the action cost them their careers.
“Kuna wengi ambao tulianza nao lakini baada ya kupata laki mbili, laki tatu wakaanza kuwa wajeuri. Wengine baada ya kupata laki nane, laki sita wakakimbia, kumbe kukimbia kule ikawa unajipotezea mwenyewe riziki yako. Saa zingine Mungu alitaka mkae pamoja mfanikiwe,” Fella said.
Fella revealed that the WCB boss is very grateful to God for his success and that is why he has been praying regularly.
“Alikuwa anamuomba Mungu ampe hela, sasa yeye ana hela. Sasa yeye ana haki ya kumrudishia shukrani ndio maana anafanya ibada sasa. Ibada zake ni za shukrani,” he said.
The manager noted that he is proud of the work he has done for Diamond and the fruits born from it.
