Gengetone rapper-turned-Mugithi singer Peter Mwangi popularly known as Miracle Baby is recuperating in hospital after surgery in his stomach.
The musician’s partner Carol Katrue updated fans about his condition in a message to Nairobi Gossip Club.
Katrue disclosed that her baby daddy underwent surgery after suffering ruptured intestines.
She added that the musician would be going to the toilet through a pipe for a period of six weeks as part of his intestines has been left out of his body.
The mother of one noted that Miracle Baby will later undergo another surgery to get the remaining intestines back into his body.
“Hae guys the surgery was success but the intestines had burst and they have managed to wash but he will be going to the toilet through a pipe and they have left some intestines outside for 6 weeks and when he recovers he will go back to the theatre so that the intestines can be returned inside,” Carol Katrue wrote.
Kikuyu musician Karangu Wa Muraya separately appealed for financial assistance from fans to aid Miracle Baby’s treatment.
“Our brother Peter Miracle Baby has been unwell and admitted to a hospital….his family has reached out to me and requested me to ask my big family to pray for him and support him because the bill is so huge, and he is still in oxygen which is so expensive… Please let’s pray for him and send our support to his wife Carol Katrue,” Karangu Wa Muraya appealed.
Miracle Baby developed stomach complications in 2022 and also appealed for financial support to seek treatment.
The musician has been having stomach issues since 2018 when he had an obstruction in the intestines.
