Michael Jackson, Bob Marley ranked among highest-paid dead celebrities

Michael Jackson is still raking in millions even in death. The late king of pop has topped the Forbes highest-paid dead celebrities of 2023 list with an estimated $115 million in earnings.

Forbes on October 31, 2023, released a list of 13 deceased celebrities who raked in most revenue in death from the sales, streams, licensing deals, and other sources of income between October 1, 2022, and September 30, 2023.

According to Forbes, the 13 deceased celebrities earned $470 million during the past 12 months, a 70% decrease from the record-breaking $1.6 billion grossed in 2022.

The late king of pop Michael Jackson, the late king of rock Elvis Presley and the late king of reggae Bob Marley were among the deceased musicians who made the cut on Forbes list.
