Mejja real name Major Nameye Khadija spent years working his way from the bottom all the way to the top to become as influential and successful as he is today in the music industry to let some other upcoming artiste soil his reputation easily.
Speaking in his recent interview, Mejja says that the matter is already in court after his lawyer/s served Bouja Bwoy who is a Burundian artiste based in Nairobi.
The ‘Utawezana’ hitmaker mentioned that a lot of people see him as a weakling because he’s always cool with everyone. Because of that, all these upcoming artistes think that they can trample him over and he won’t say anything, Mejja promise to change all that with the artiste who pulled down his song without merit. They are starting to use his kindness for weakness to make a name for themselves in the music industry, allegedly.
Mejja’s hit song dubbed ‘Tabia za waKenya’ was pulled down by Bouja Bwoy when the song had over 1.6 million views.

This isn’t the first time Mejja’s song has been pulled down from YouTube over copyright claims.
Mejja shared the song that was allegedly copied on his Instagram account saying that it doesn’t in any way sound the same as his ‘Tabia za waKenya’ song.
Since the matter is already in court after both parties involved serving one another, there’s nothing much Mejja can do at the moment as they wait for the court to rule on the matter.
Bouja Bwuoy still maintains that Mejja copied his song, a claim that he still holds on to to this day.
