meet Mia Ivy the sultry reggae artiste that Kenya has been missing for so long

I won’t be taking shots to mention the unmentioned for so long that the Kenyan music industry has been lacking the sultry, somewhat sensual female reggae artiste in the game.  I mean it’s a given that the Kenyan first lady, Nazizi has represented women in the genre for years without nobody coming close to her but the only catch is that she wasn’t sensual at all(which is not a bad thing by the way and reggae icon, Etana champions that and she even has a record about that same topic that addressed it.)

Mia Ivy who is also a talented guitarist and on her 4th year student in Pwani University in Kilifi on the other hand just brought the missing bit of it in the genre with her latest record ‘Smooth Errand’ that shows something outside the box on the visuals as laced by DL Filmworks and her voice is something that can’t be assumed one bit.

“Smooth Errand is a love song about lovers who have been kept away due to various reasons, primarily being work. It talks about the challenges that they face when they are apart and all the things they look forward to doing together when they eventually meet up.” she said about her record that she recently released officially on her YouTube account

The single was recorded in Streetbreeze records and produced by Crazy Monkey.

I love everybody who loves everybody, somebody got to love somebody at some point.
Music is something that comes natural to everybody and it's a language that everybody can understand, I understand it and that's why I speak it
fluently, do you.
