El Kamel, born in Havana Cuba is a talented music artist widely known as the King of Cuba, he’s among the topmost acknowledged and widely played music artists in the Cuban music industry.
He has played a major role in uplifting the current state of music in his home country and is now exploring more diversified fruitful avenues to help establish his musical career.
In 2017 he got a chance encounter to meet with Cedric Singleton the CEO of Black Market Records, which led him to sign a recording contract with the American-based recording company.
Later that year he released 2 albums ‘Time Real Fire’ and ‘One Rey’, both successful projects that drew the attention of media and more fans into liking his music.
The unprecedented work ethic and talent of El Kamel in the following year led to the release of his 9 albums including the groundbreaking ‘El rey de el barrio’ with hit songs like ‘Mojonera’, amongst other classics. It’s true 2018 was a huge win for him and the major breakout year, it helped him set the stepping stone to getting his music into the wider international market.
Having worked with some of Cuba’s biggest acts, the talented artist is now escalating higher with endless collaborations from artistes like Yomil & Dany, El Yonki, Chocolate, El Chulo, El Taiger, El Yonki, Kola Loka, El Micha, El Chacal, Osmani Garcia, Kandy Man and with plans to work with Gente De Zona plus more established music artists.
He is currently headlining tours all over Europe and his tour will soon be in the US.
