MC Fullstop gets new lease of life months after announcing he was staring at death

MC Fullstop on March 29, 2023, shared a heartbreaking post on social media where he revealed that one of his lungs had failed due to a Tuberculosis infection.

The renowned reggae MC, whose real name is John Maina, had completely lost hope in life as he saw his condition not getting better.

“Hii imeenda” literally. My left lung has totally collapsed nimebaki na moja. In 2021 i was diagnosed with TB ya lungs ikasosi lungs kabisa. 2022 nikapata TB ya throat nayo ikanimaliza sauti, Running, walking, kuongea ni shida.”

“Alafu lungs zina lungs ufala unlike Liver, haiwezi ji heal itabidi nijipange hapa naona niki hang boots. I just wanna say thanks kwa wale wamekuwa wakini support in this difficult moments God awa bless tu sana,” MC Fullstop wrote.

Fast forward to May 17, 2023, MC Fullstop is beaming with hope after his condition improved significantly.

The MC gave an update of his condition and shared photos of himself recuperating in hospital.

“Update: Last Month I went for 2nd and 3rd opinion from different Doctors, we did a bronchoscopy and lung biopsy the results were awesome. Saa hii niko juu ya heavy medication gunia kama mbili na therapy. Nimerudi home Mombasa na weather inani favour kuruka. I wanna say THANKS to all who sent a prayer, juu prayers nimegongwa nazo zimedai kuruka. Thanks to all who came to check on me in the Hospital and at home, Thank you for your contributions may your pockets never lack. God bless you all. Not admitted kwa hosi niko home sasa,” he wrote.
