]A few days ago, a fortnight, Manzi wa Kibera caught the attention of social media after she got married to her lover.
She got married to Obidan Dela in a flamboyant, extravagant wedding that has not lasted long as many would have imagined it would.
Manzi wa Kibera has decided to quit her marriage to Obidan Dela after just two weeks saying that she needs some time off from the marriage life because it is not what she had earlier on expected it to be. She said that she hasn’t been happy for those past few days she had been married.
Manzi wa Kibera who has since gone back to Kibera is of the opinion that before marriage, people should take their sweet time to know each other before deciding to settle down forever for eternity adding that people shouldn’t get into marriages and/or resort to getting babies because of peer pressure.
“Just decided to take a break from marriage kidogo coz it’s not what I expected[sic],” she said in part.
Manzi wa Kibera who was a former contestant at Eric Omondi’s Wife Material show says she intends to stay alone at the moment until she decides otherwise.
“Nimerudi mtaa yangu Kibera ku stay kivyangu till further notice. I think before marriage, people should take enough time to know each other and never do things like weddings or making babies because of pressure,” she concluded.
Her supposed husband, Obidan Dela is heartbroken by Manzi wa Kibera’s decision to step outside of their marriage forever.
Obidan Dela has taken to social media to advice people, especially single people to never be in a rush to get married because there are a lot of thing you can achieve when you’re single and you don’t need anyone locking you down in marriage.
“Kama bado haujaoa kitu naweza kuambia ni unaweza fanya kitu ya maana na Maisha yako ukiwa single(If you haven’t married, the one thing I can tell you is that you can do something very important in your life when you are single),” he said on social media.

It’s not in the public domain what might have been the reason why the newlyweds decided to do away with their marriage that clearly hasn’t lasted long.
I guess it’s only a matter of time before everything comes to light about the reason/s for their sudden separation a few days into their marriage.
