Man sues Jay Z for being a deadbeat dad

30-year-old Rymir Satterthwaite, who insists that he is Jay-Z’s illegitimate son, wants court to compel the legendary rapper to take a DNA test.

Rymir filed a Supreme Court motion seeking to have a paternity test that will prove if indeed he is Jay Z’s biological son or not.

Rymir has been fighting to prove the legendary rapper is his biological father since he was 21.

However, according to Rymir, his efforts to prove that Jay Z is his dad have been frustrated by the rapper whom he claims is using his money and influence to abuse the legal system for over a decade to avoid taking a paternity test.

Now, he’s bringing his case to the Supreme Court, hoping they will force Jay Z to take a DNA test to provide him with the confirmation he desperately craves.

But, according to the 30-year-old, he wants nothing from the hitmaker – no money, no yachts, no mansions – all he wants is for ‘justice to be served’.

“This is not going to be over until justice is served. I just want to live my life and, when it is all said and done, I hope that Jay-Z would want to be a part of my life, if that is God’s will. I won’t stop fighting for this until I win. And I will win because the law is on our side,” Rymir told the Daily Mail.

This isn’t the first time Rymir has taken legal action against Jay-Z.

In 2016, he filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z, claiming that he was his father and demanded a paternity test.

Ultimately, the case was dismissed by a judge in New Jersey, citing a lack of jurisdiction.

Rymir claims his late mother Wanda had slept with the rapper when she was 16 and he was 22, which is well before he achieved global fame.

According to the filing, the romance was short-lived as Wanda was still with her high school sweetheart Robert, who was by Wanda’s side when she gave birth in the hospital, as per the Daily Mail.

As a result, Robert was listed as Rymir’s biological father on his birth certificate.

However, in 2010, Robert took a paternity test which proved that Rymir wasn’t his offspring. He broke up with Wanda and the following year Wanda granted custody of her son to his godmother, Lillie.

Lillie vowed that he would find out who Rymir’s birth father is and even contacted Jay-Z’s lawyer Lise Fisher and asked that the rapper take a DNA test.

However, Jay-Z and his team didn’t comply.

In 2012, Rymir and his godmother decided to pursue legal action, which has spanned over 10 years.
