A man has since caught the attention of social media after he scaled a KPLC transformer just to have a glimpse of the second man in command in the country.

The man wasn’t the only one who scaled on top of a tree just to watch Deputy President William Ruto speak, others right behind him also scaled a tree.

Some residents even hanging on branches but he was the only one who stood out because he risked his life by getting electrocuted because he was literally next to the transformer.

The Deputy President was in Nandi County on Saturday, February 26, 2020, to launch the Sireet Outgrowers’ Kamarich Empowerment Tea Factory, Chebisaas Girls’ High School administration/tuition block in Kobujoi, Aldai Constituency, and Nandi Hills market.

When DP Ruto stepped out to address wananchi, the man caught the attention of people who were in attendance after he decided to scale the transformer pole.

The DP engaged the Nandi Hills town residents after the opening of the outpatient hospital unit in Nandi Hills, Nandi County.

Reportedly, the man in question had climbed a tree with his friends but due to a lot of people climbing the tree, his view was blocked so he couldn’t see the Deputy President addressing the residents.

The man who wore a basketball jersey then decided to climb the electricity pole risking his life just to see Deputy President William Samoei Ruto speak. Reportedly he propped himself by holding the transformer.

Good news is that nobody got electrocuted that day including the man who scaled it, he didn’t touch or hold any power lines.
