Man nearly gets lynched by an angry mob in Mathare North after running over a primary school girl

Mathare North in Nairobi is a place where many thieves and robbers don’t want to hear about because they almost solve every crime by lynching or by ‘mob justice’.

A few hours ago in Mathare north, specifically in Raila Odinga road, one man driving a probox with number plate KCD 669C allegedly hit a school girl( probably in a nursery school) with the side mirror which saw the young child slide all the way in the road.

Seeing this, the bodaboda operators started making noises and calling the said driver mwizi(thief) which startled the driver who happens to be a visitor and made him took off at high speed which brought attention to himself.

The bodaboda operators chased him until he was cornered where he was almost lynched if the Roysambu Administration Police were not there to rescue the situation.

The young  child wad taken to hospital in a hurry by bodaboda to check if she had internal bleeding.

The man is currently in custody in the Roysambu Administration Police in Mathare north.
