A few months ago, the Columbian hitmaker Maluma was spotted dancing and singing along to Rayvanny’s hit song ‘Tetema’ which went viral as he shared the short clip online on his social media platform/s.
Since then, Maluma and Rayvanny exchanged some pleasantries online and even toyed about the prospect of working together on a record in the near future; probably on the possible remix of the viral hit song by the BET Award winner Rayvanny that featured his boss, Diamond Platnumz.
A few months after making acquittance online, Rayvanny confirmed that they have already finished working on a song/s together and they couldn’t wait to share the good news with their respective fans who were eagerly waiting for them to release the collabo song ahead of the high anticipation.
Some of us thought that their collaborative song was going to be a remix of the hit song ‘Tetema’ originally by Rayvanny featuring Maluma but they had other plans.
It was Maluma who got to feature Rayvanny on a song instead that has since been released officially on all streaming platforms concurrently with the visuals for the same. The song is dubbed ‘Mama Tetema’.
The ‘Mama Tetema’ still has the original melody of the original ‘Tetema’ song and fans are here for it.
Fans who might have heard of Maluma for the very first time after working with Rayvanny are impressed with his jumping on a Swahili song and work with Rayvanny, an established artiste from Tanzania, Africa, the East African region.
This song is about to be one of the timeless hit songs that Maluma has ever released. By far it’s going to be one of the important records on Maluma’s music catalog that he’s ever released thus far.
Thanks to his collaboration record ‘Mama Tetema’, Maluma who has worked with Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, J Balvin, The Weeknd, Shakira, Gims, Jason Derulo, Marc Anthony, and Madonna has officially introduced himself in the African market.

This is the very first time an artiste from Latin America gets to work with an East African artiste right after J Balvin and Mr Eazi were spotted living their best lives together a few weeks ago. Mr Eazi is from West Africa, Nigeria.
The two released a collaboration song together dubbed ‘Lento’ that was released officially back on 20th December 2020.
