Charles Majawa’s death certificate is one his family members would rather love to hide as the cause of his death has been listed as “extreme orgasm”.
The late Majawa died while having sex with a prostitute in the twon of Phalombe in Malawi on 18th August 2020. The man is said have lost consciousness after intense sexual activity with the sex worker.
The woman decided to report his death to police after speaking with her colleagues. Majawa’s lifeless body was taken back to his home village of Matepwe.
Phalombe Police Station spokesperson – Innocent Moses confirmed that the late Majawa booked a room with the sex worker, but ended up collapsing and becoming unconscious while in the act.

Five months after Majawa’s death, postmortem report has officially determined the cause of his death as an excessive orgasm.
A medical examiner from Migowi Health Centre listed the cause of Majawa’s death as excessive orgasm which caused blood vessels in the brain to rupture.
Malawian police said that the woman would not be held liable for Majawa’s death and that no charges would be made related to his demise.
