Luo rapper Japesa has established himself as the Luo Sakordie or Phyno who are known for spitting hefty lyrics in a classy way in their native language.
Japesa represents hip hop fully in Dholuo dialect and truth be told, there’s currently no Luo rapper who can hold candle/s to him, he is that good.

Japesa who worked with King Kaka on his last project has jumped on Motif’s produced beat for Khaligraph Jones’ hit record ‘Yes Bana’ featuring Bien-Aimé proving that he still has some bars for days even if they’re in Luo.
They say music is a universal language and Japesa is clearly communicating on his own version of ‘Yes Bana’ only his version dubbed ‘Yes Jadha’.
He becomes the second mainstream rapper to release his own freestyle version of ‘Yes Bana’ after Breeder LW released his own version that is currently trending everywhere in the country.
