Laika Umuhoza and Harmonize have romantically been linked even though they have not publicly come out to announce they are dating.
Speaking to Ugandan press, Laika revealed that Harmonize slid into her Instagram DMs in 2020 and they exchanged contacts.
Laika said Harmonize and her met in 2023 when he flew her for a vacation in Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam where they spent quality time together.
The Ugandan singer nonetheless claimed that the trip was not romantically motivated and they met to record music.
Laika said she left the country with a producer named B-Boy to record the songs.
According to her, they are set to release about three songs.
Laika explained that Harmonize is rich and didn’t mind spending on her when she was asked the Bongo singer would pay for the trip yet they are not romantically involved.
“But Harmonise is rich. Why would he make me pay when he can pay it?” Harmonise is a very kind person. Down to earth. He is blessed. That Guy is very blessed… And because of his character, he deserves everything he’s about to achieve. Harmonise is my best friend,” she said.
Harmonize has not been able to settle with one woman ever since he broke up with Frida Kajala in December 2022.
The Bongo singer has been linked with multiple women since the breakup with Kajala last year.
Harmonize was thought to be in a stable relationship with Rwandan beauty Yolo The Queen but all of sudden he is with Ugandan beauty Laika Umuhoza.
Laika and Harmonize recently got a matching tattoo sparking speculations that they could be taking their relationship to the next level.
Laika Umuhoza, is a Ugandan-Rwandan recording artist, vocalist, songwriter and live perfomer. She was born in Kanungu district in the Western region of Uganda but grew up in Munyonyo, Kampala.
Laika holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting she completed her University education in the U.S and graduated in 2019. It was after her graduation that she decided to follow her passion for music and become a singer.
Laika released her first single titled “My Type” in 2020 after a series of several cover song performances. She gained popularity on Instagram by doing covers for songs by American singer-songwriter Lauren Hill and American-Jamaican singer Elaine.
