Gospel singer David Wonder was condemned into music oblivion after he parted ways with Bahati’s Eastlands Most Beloved (EMB) Records.

Little has been heard of David Wonder’s music since his exit from EMB in February 2019.

Speaking during a recent interview, David said he has not been able to focus on his music career because he has been grappling with a disease that has affected his health.

The musician said that for a year and a half, he has been sick and struggling with a difficult life situation.

“I have been tested for a year and a half, doctors who treated me told me that I might be wrong to continue my music career because my body needed to rest for a while without singing and dancing, this thing has been serious for me because it ruined my musical plans,” he said.

According to the gospel singer, his health was affected to the extent of disrupting his creativity level.

David added that at the moment he has tried to develop his talent but not in full gear because he has not fully recovered.

“I am trying to do my music work but in moderation because the doctors convinced me to rest first so that my body can be strong,” he said.

The musician explained his ordeal while revealing that there was a time when he went through difficulties after dealing with thieves who stole his goods.

David Wonder was among musicians who left Bahati’s EMB in droves. He quit the label a few weeks after Mr Seed quit the outfit.

Weezdom was also among gospel artistes who quit Bahati’s EMB record en masse in 2019.
