L-Jay Maasai opens up about his beef with Bahati and winning Groove Awards

L-Jay Maasai has finally sets the record straight about his beef with Bahati.

The former Male of the Year award winning gospel artiste at the Groove Awards opened up about the issue that he had with fellow gospel artiste, Bahati that people misinterpret and misconstrued.

“my issue with Bahati came about when he was apologizing to people on the behalf gospel artistes” L-Jay Said in part “to me personally, I was not on the wrong, if anything, he was on the wrong by working with other secular artistes. So what right does he have to speak on behalf of all gospel artistes?” he added talking about the issue that he had with Bahati at his recently opened to the public state of the art record label and management company, TNC Records.

L-Jay Maasai went on to address the issue about him winning the Groove Awards clearing the air that he bought his votes to win the coveted award at the Groove Awards.

“I have never bought Votes for Groove Awards” he iterated and also commended the way Groove Awards usually select the winners of the nominees “You actually have to get the votes for you win, you can not buy votes for Groove, with Groove Awards you cannot cheat, that’s one thing I am certainly sure of” he added.
