Krispah is counting losses after his debut mainstream success song ‘Ndovu Kuu’ got pulled down from YouTube over copyright claims by Dexta Briyanka.

The song was sitting on over 3 million views on YouTube alone prior to it getting pulled down.

According to Dexta Briyanka, he claims that Krispah sampled his beat for his song dubbed ‘V8’ stating that the record is infringing on his rights as an artiste.

His other reason for pulling down the ‘Ndovu Kuu’ hit song that features Khaligraph Jones, and Boutross Munene from YouTube is because the song, at least according to him, perpetuates and promotes violence in Kenyatta University and as such he is more than ready and willing to take the matter to Court.

“I didn’t mean to be rude my people. KHALIGRAPH and Krispah sampled my beat of the song v8 ndo wakaunda hakuna masomo ku wamekataa.

Nmeitoa YouTube because it is infringing my rights and also it has promoted violence in Kenyatta university. Hata mzazi halipi fee juu wanasema hakuna masomo ku. Leta meet in court if you have an issue,” Dexta Briyanka’s official statement on social media read.

Dexta Briyanka has been on the receiving end of netizens’ attacks who are calling him out for pulling down the song from YouTube in alleged malice just to build up some traction for himself as an artiste.

Dexta Briyanka stressed that he doesn’t have any plans of taking back his copyright strike on the song.
