Several musicians came out to contribute towards Colonel Mustafa after it emerged that he resorted to working as a construction worker to cater for his mother’s treatment.

Mustafa’s mother is suffering from cancer.

Well-wishers came together to raise money for the rapper to assist in his mother’s treatment as well as helping him get back on his feet.

Celebrities formed a WhatsApp group to help their colleague Mustafa.

Several celebs have contributed generously to the cause. Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja was among the biggest contributors as he donated Ksh100,000.

Former Starehe MP Jaguar donated Ksh40,000 with Lang’ata MP Jalang’o giving the same amount.

Ringtone, Nameless, King Kaka, Mzazi Willy Tuva, KRG the Don, Kris Darling, Robert Burale each contributed Ksh20,000.

On today Monday 12 June 2023, KRG came out clearly to explain why he donated Ksh20,000 only to Mustafa despite having a lot of money.

According to KRG, he said that people call him boss on the social media platform but they have put complains that despite the good name given to him, he only donated Ksh20,000 to Mustafa and yet other people donated big money.

KRG explained that the person who created the WhatsApp group added him during the late hours and so many people had already donated the money almost to the limit that they had targeted of Ksh700,000.

The rapper also added that the people had already donated Ksh680,000 and so he felt the gap of Ksh20,000 which had remained.
