Jamaican Dancehall superstar Garfield Delano Spence aka Konshens has announced that he will be making a stopover in Nairobi before he proceeds to Kampala.

On Tuesday night, the 38-year-old musician posted a photo that showed him on a plane.

In the description section of the post, he revealed that he was on his way to the neighboring country of Uganda where he is scheduled to perform on Sunday, December 17.

However, he revealed that he will not be landing in Uganda directly but instead will be passing through Kenya’s capital, Nairobi on the night of Wednesday, December 13.

“En route to 🇺🇬UGANDA!! see you soon!! 🖤🖤. But im gonna overnight in Nairobi😃🥰whats hot on a Wednesday night in my city?🤔,” Konshens wrote.

Earlier this month, the popular dancehall star announced that he would be passing through Kenya during his music tour in Uganda before Christmas.

While making the announcement on December 5, Konshens asked his fans to suggest good places to visit.

“For your information, there is no way I come to Uganda, which I love, and miss Kenya, which I love, even if it’s just for vacation vibes, suggest some places,” he said via Twitter.

It is not clear if the 38-year-old singer has an event planned in Kenya or is here on vacation. There are still five days left before his Uganda show.

It is not the first time for Konshens to visit Kenya. Most of his previous tours however have been musical journeys where he has given thrilling performances.

The Dancehall and Reggae singer’s great love for Kenya is also evident and he has confirmed it with his several tours. Konshens is a frequent visitor to Kenya and his last visit was in December 2021.

Many Kenyans are also fans of the Jamaican and even follow him on his social media pages.
