Sage Chemutai has really struggled to make an impact on the music scene like she did five years ago before she became a mother.

The sultry singer shot to fame in 2013 when she featured rapper Octopizzo in her hit song ‘So Alive’.

A year later, at the height of her fame, she had an affair with King Kaka and she got pregnant for him.

Sage and King Kaka have a 5-year-old daughter Ayanna who was born around the same time with the rapper’s other daughter Gweth.

On Wednesday, October 9th, Sage took to social media to announce a major comeback. The songbird said she has been inspired by the advice she got from the late legendary singer Oliver Mtukudzi.

“A couple of years ago I was privileged enough to meet #OliverMtukudzi and have a sit-down conversation with him. It was intense. He gave me so much advice about doing music you love, longevity, authenticity..etc. Maybe I was not prepared for the advice then, but now I look back and see both the wisdom in his words and the beauty in his creative.

Today, I ask you my people, what would you like me to do more of? What advice can you give me. Apart from releasing more music. Where and how can we connect? Because I love a good connection,” wrote Sage.

Adding that;

“I feel like I have been recluse for such a long time and I want to be present with both life and my fans.
Remember, I love y’all and I can’t wait to share a project I have been working on (for a while) with you soon.#legend #connections #music #life.”
