King Kaka taps Pascal Tokodi for a Papa Shirandula tribute

King Kaka entered the studio to pay tribute to Papa Shirandula real name Charles Bukeko after his sudden death this month.

The rapper who has achieved a lot through his music and investments over the years also lost his friend called Mandela and he deemed it appropriate to write the song for him as well.

On the record dubbed ‘Fly’, King Kaka features the multi-talented actor and musician, Pascal Tokodi who is on the hook of the song bringing a tear in your eye once you listen to him sing on this record in question.

On the song, King Kaka opens up about how Papa Shirandula had plans of uniting the Luhya tribe in the country with hopes of bringing them together and also how happy he always was.

King Kaka’s last memorable projects were with Safaricom and being in the cameo for King Kaka and Pascal Tokodi’s ‘Nakulove’ record that was days apart.

The ‘Fly’ record is a collaborative song of King Kaka and Pascal Tokodi which is off their upcoming collaborative album that clearly the world is not ready for at the moment since it’s going to be bananas!

King Kaka has an entire verse dedicated to Papa Shirandula telling the world how an awesome man he truly was and how the world is torn now that he’s no longer with us.

Not forgetting his friend, King Kaka talked about how his friend Mandela used to believe in him so much so that he used to take him to his numerous gig with his car before he was well off to buy himself a car of his own.

The ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ hitmaker also agreed that the year 2020 is full of turmoil, pandemic, trials, and tribulations and the year is not even done yet.

Papa Shirandula might be gone but his legacy lives on through different initiatives he started, he is the man behind the success of actors in the country, he was the one who championed for the better pay for actors in the country.

His legacy will vicariously live through established entertainers like Jalang’o, King Kaka, Pascal Tokodi, and so many other people who he touched their lives with his existence in the world.
