Kennedy Ombima, popularly known as King Kaka, is trekking all the way from the capital Nairobi to Nakuru for a good cause meant to help the girl child stay in school.

The rapper started the walk dubbed ‘Bank On Me Menstrual Walk 2019’ on Monday August 19, 2019 in Nairobi to raise funds to provide school girls with sanitary towels.

“Join us or go to our website BankOnMe.co.ke or Paybill 894889, Account Number ‘Menstrual Walk.’ Remember Sh600 keeps one girl in school for a whole year,” King Kaka said.

The Nairobi based rapper, who is a father to two girls, plans to keep 100,000 girls in school by providing them with sanitary towels.

King Kaka wants to put to an end the trend where girls miss school during their menses because they can’t afford sanitary towels.

He has been keeping his fans on social media updated by regularly sharing photos and video of his trek. The rapper is currently in Naivasha heading to Nakuru.
